Inaugural Kobane Day lecture draws support

Professor John Tully, historian and Kurdish solidarity activist gave the inaugural Sydney Kobane Day Lecture in the New South Wales Parliament House on November 8.

Democratic Union Party (PYD) co-chair Saleh Muslim gave greetings from Rojava/Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.

The event was organised by the Democratic Kurdish Community Centre (NSW) and Rojava Solidarity Sydney, and hosted by Greens MPs Jamie Parker and Abigail Boyd. MPs from other parties attended along with human rights, solidarity and community activists.
