INDIA: Fund appeal for woman leader struck by cancer

November 17, 1993
Issue

Long-time activist and national secretary of the All India Progressive Women's Association Ajanta Lohit was diagnosed recently with liver cancer after suffering from breast cancer since 2001. Chemotherapy has begun with the support of impoverished friends and comrades in India but more resources are desperately needed to give Lohit a better chance. To contribute, send crossed cheques/drafts payable at Lucknow to the CPI(ML), U.P. State Office, 27 Khurshedbagh, Lucknow, 226004, India. Mark the envelope for Ajanta Lohit.
