Israelis believe Palestinians should leave

In an April 4 poll of Israelis carried out by the Madar Palestinian Centre for Israel Studies, 42% agreed that the Israeli state should encourage Palestinians with Israeli citizenship to leave the country, and a further 17% "tended to agree". The survey also found that just 34% of Israelis support a peace deal with Palestine that includes full withdrawal of Israeli troops to the 1967 "Greenline", which would become the border of a new Palestine. While previous surveys have found 60% support for a Palestinian state among Israelis, most have not specified the borders of such a state.
