Why

Students for Palestine and Unionists for Palestine are co-organising a Nakba Rally occurring on May 15 2pm at the State Library.

Al Nakba commemorates the mass displacement, expulsion and ethnic cleansing of upwards of 750,000 Palestinians from Palestine. Currently we are living through another Nakba.

We encourage all students to skip classes and strike for Palestine on May 15. And encourage all unionists and workers to pull a sickie (the anti-dote being protest ) and attend in solidarity as we fight to free Palestine from the river to the sea.

The workers and students united will never be defeated, and we won’t stop until Palestine is free from the river to the sea!
