The Nightly Planet: Keys to the Cities — Radio National's music of the world program brings a selection of tributes to cities and their people. Senegal's Youssou N'Dour celebrates the suburb of Dakar in which he grew up with "Medina". Duke Ellington and trumpeter Cootie Williams pay tribute to one of the world's largest black cities with "Echoes of Harlem". Randy Newman's "Christmas in Cape Town" is disturbing yet still relevant.
