Sunday Stereo Season — Julius Caesar — This is Egypt, torn by war, greed and lust. Tolomeo and his sister Cleopatra are forever fighting for the throne, while in Rome Giulio Cesare and Pompeo also fight for power. Highlights from this lavish opera with Yvonne Kenny starring as Cleopatra and Graham Pushee as Caesar. This program is simulcast with ABC TV. ABC Classic FM, Sunday, December 11, 8.30pm.
