More than 1000 students, workers and activists marched on May 6 to call for urgent action on climate change.

The rally, organised by School Strike 4 Climate, gathered at Sydney Town Hall and heard from several speakers before marching past New South Wales Parliament.

It called on politicians to commit to real solutions before the federal election, including: net zero emissions by 2030; 100% renewables; a just transition for fossil fuel workers and; no new coal or gas.
