About 40 people formed a chain at Sydney Town Hall in solidarity with the women in Palestine on March 6. The action was organised by the Coalition of Women For Justice with Peace in collaboration and Jews Against the Occupation ’48.

As part of marking International Women’s Day, it was designed to explicitly speak up for the Palestinian women, who are suffering under Israel’s apartheid, occupation and genocide.

It also extended solidarity to women and children in all war zones and places of oppression.
