'Support Solar Systems!'

On October 30,100 people rallied at Victoria's parliament house against the federal government's failure to support Solar Systems before its administration deadline expired.

Solar Systems had been in voluntary receivership in September, after it was unable to secure enough finance. Only part of the government's promised $125 million funding was ever received. Ex-employee David Turner told the rally that the barriers to transitioning to a renewable energy future are political, not technological.
