Indonesia's struggle for democracy — Follow developments in Indonesia and find out what you can do in solidarity at these sites: Action in Solidarity with Indonesia and East Timor (ASIET) has first-hand reports from the Indonesian activists themselves. Find out the positions of the militant People's Democratic Party, which has been scapegoated and witch-hunted. ASIET's web page at <http://www.peg.apc.org/~asiet/> contains background information, letters and solidarity appeals, as well as material to help you generate pressure to force the regime to release all political prisoners. While you are there, sign up for the ASIET e-mailing list. Another site which deals with the democratic and national liberation struggles in Indonesia, West Papua and East Timor is maintained by the Coordination Group for the Peoples Resistance in Indonesia <http://www.xs4all.nl/~peace>; for daily reports on political developments from many different perspectives, including the mainstream press, students and East Timor activists, visit <gopher://oasis.leidenuniv.nl:70/11/.kitlv/.daily report>. The Democratic Socialist Party has launched a site to build solidarity with the People's Democratic Party at <http://www.peg.apc.org/~stan/dsp/dsp indo.htm>. Finally, visit Free Speech TV to hear journalist Allan Nairn tell the story behind his investigative report "Uncle Sam's Indonesian Killers", which got him arrested and deported from Indonesia. Nairn talks about the IMF and the Clinton administration's backing of Suharto, and the struggle for freedom in East Timor. Hear it at <http://www.freespeech.org/boards/nairn.html>.

Free Speech TV: Labor Express — Roger Ronnie of the South African Municipal Workers Union. This interview, conducted by Faheemah Shareef of the Service Employees International Union Local 46 in Chicago, is about the need for working people from around the world to stand together in the face of globalisation. Hear it at <http://www.freespeech.org/boards/LEsa.html>.

Encyclopaedia of Trotskyism On-line — Loosely modelled on other Marxism archives, this site is devoted to the second most crucial leader of the Russian revolution and his myriad followers. Recent additions include: The Communist League of China by Frank Glass, written as a report to the ILO/Fourth International on the situation in China in 1937; articles from Revolutionary History magazine; The Balham Group: How British Trotskyism Began by Reg Groves; and lots more at <http://www.trotskyism.org>.
