Workers rally against prison privatisation

More than 3000 workers, organised by the Public Service Association, marched on NSW Parliament House on April 2 to oppose the planned privatisation of the Goulburn and Cessnock jails.

Nursing, teachers and other public sector unions joined the protesters, who vented their fury on a Labor government that continues to flout official party policy opposing privatisation.
